So it's hard to say what his true feelings on the subject are. Personally, though, I stopped caring or trying to understand him after he made that declaration. Quote:

I would like to think my wife and I played a significant role in that. I learn something from her every day, and feel blessed that she came into our lives.

I'm sure you know how life can get in the way of one's message board time. It's just been doing that a LOT recently.

No matter.
I suspected your apology was insincere. Thanks for confirming it.
Shame on me for giving you the benefit of the doubt more than once.
But to clear up your confusion, your feelings and statements against homosexuality do not diminish my humanity, FX. You don't have the power to do that.
Your feelings against homosexuality diminish YOUR humanity, just as feelings condemning a person's race, gender, or religion would. And your statements against homosexuality put your diminished humanity on display.

Amazing how you want to play semantics games - and, yet, you're so poor at it. | If marriage were redefined to accommodate homosexuals, or polygamists etc, then it would no longer be exclusively one man one woman - which is traditional in our society.
Is that semantics or are you being disingenuous - again?

Is homosexual marriage legal in your state?

I spent a couple months a few years ago trying to connect with his humanity, and finally gave up. Once he came out as a troll, though, I felt vindicated. |

Your feelings against homosexuality diminish YOUR humanity, just as feelings condemning a person's race, gender, or religion would. And your statements against homosexuality put your diminished humanity on display. | My apology WAS sincere as it related to that subject of you being called "Pixie Chick" was dehumanizing to you. But that ain't what we are talking about here.
Finding something wrong with homosexuality is not the same as race, gender or religion. Homosexuality compels an abnormal unnatural action just as zoofie and pedo. All of them are unnatural for any species on the planet IMHO. And stating that just makes me honest, if anything strengthening my "humanity". Whatever the fruck that is.
Race doesn't compel anything.
Gender has it's own set of rules.
And as for religion, well there are some "f'd" up things done in the name of religion, so I don't know if I can agree with you on that one.
But just as legal definition if homosexuality, defined age of consent, and whether zoophilia can change on human whim.
Homosexuality will ALWAYS be and has ALWAYS BEEN unnatural biologically and sterile reproductively. Just as having sex with a prepubescent child and another species. And even though man is looking like they are breaking through that natural barrier as well, hopefully most humans will retain the knowledge what is corect and natural for our species.
Because to strip that knowledge away in the name of "rights" is the biggest threat of "dehumanizing" that I can see.
It ranks right up there with that "abortion rights" bullshit.
If they can make sheep that are 15% human, I wonder how long before they make humans that are 15% sheep? I wonder what will it take to "dehumanize" that "person"?

This is me giving you the benefit of the doubt again.
Please don't make me sorry for doing that.
As for the rest of your post, I understand that is your position, and though I disagree with it, I recognize that you are welcome to hold it.
So where did this stuff about me saying that it is diminishing my humanity when you state your position come from?
I may have forgotten, but I honestly do not remember ever saying that. |
