Actually with Tris, he wouldn't mind if it were his sister/brother.

You're too old, and a bit too rotund for the FX guy. Sorry, it wouldn't happen anyway. Even if I was gay, you still wouldn't make the grade.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York appeals court ruled on Friday that valid same-sex marriages performed in other states or countries must be recognized in New York, the first known ruling of its kind in the country, a rights group said.

"This is a victory for families, it's a victory for fairness and it's a victory for human rights," said Donna Lieberman, executive director of the New York Civil Liberties Union.
How can it be a "victory for families" when the end result is that children have a mummy, a mummy's pal and no daddy?

That's not a real family.

And how can it be a victory for human rights when brothers are still forbidden from marrying their sisters?

You're clearly confused. The child would have "two moms" or "two dads." There's nothing wrong with that. There has been a plethora of studies done that prove children growing up in gay households are no less "normal" than kids growing up in straight households.

The very fact that you quote these worthless studies proves you haven't read any of them!

I have so I know how worthless they are, and many legal experts agree with me. They are based on questionnaires mailed out to tiny samples, sometimes as few as 15 !

Children without a father or children without a mother lack a complete perspective.

Actually, it is a real family; it's just not a "traditional" family.

So by your bizarre rationale, any combination of adults and children is a family?

So a play school group could be a family for example? or a soccer team?

As long as it takes one man and one woman to create a baby naturally, a child with a mummy and daddy will be a natural family

[color=red][color=black]Umm....incest has been known to cause birth defects. However, you can keep trying. Good luck.
Not all incestuous births result in birth defects.

But you are right that an incestuous "marriage" is as ludicrous as a homosexual one. Good luck in persuading America otherwise

so you're gonna stick with the "I know you are but what am I?" technique?

You'll have to overlook Gary's bad manners here, OTL.
This topic has been a source of his gay-baiting amusement for years.
Best not to play along.

Good ole Forester always tries to write off support for traditional marriage and the family as "bad manners" or "gay baiting" because she has run out of anything approaching a rational argument.

Please try to forgive her naivety.

Good to see you back Forester!
