Seems to me that people who think like you are going the way of the dodo bird.
Not really, we just get older and wiser. Just as those younger people will do. Remember today's conservatives are the same hippies who were screwing in orgies in the sixties. We'll see.

But then again, with three parent children and semi-human sheep, no telling where we are going as a species. Homosexuality will seem like a wet dream when we have mostly human chimera's clamoring for "rights".

Arguably the harm to children is done the day they are adopted by two homosexuals, effectively ending the child's chances of having both a mummy and a daddy like a normal child.

As for health insurance, the only real answer to that issue is universal health care of some sort, not redefining marriage to accommodate homosexuals.

That's a great little diagram.

It shows that there are actually more over 80 year olds who find gay people 'acceptable' than the entire population did in 1982!

Dodo bird is right!

No doubt most people will say they "accept" homosexuality if asked the question by a pollster.

However that is a long way from approving of the redefinition of marriage to accommodate homosexuals, which is overwhelmingly rejected by Americans every chance they get.

Also, as those younger people grow older, marry and become parents, they hopefully begin to acquire the wisdom that speaks against the notion that it's "ok to be gay".

I think most telling was the Zogby poll done about DADT where like nearly 80% of people said they were comfortable around gay people but less than indicated 30% wanting to work with them.

well, if they're comfortable around gay people - but don't want to work with them, I guess the only explanation is that they don't want to be shown in a bad light next to somebody more talented, industrious, driven and committed.

Or they just feel that there is something "amiss" about gay people. I would be comfortable around a person with a broken leg, but his/her leg is still broken.

Is that why there are so many homeless gay people? All that talent and industriousness.

Wait that sounds like bigotry and discrimination??

Oh I forgot, homosexuals can't ever be bigoted.

You wouldn't work with a person who had a broken leg?!

Oh - wait - you don't work anyway.

never mind. It's a bad analogy - but, since you don't know what working is about, you can be excused on that terrific blunder.
