I work at an elementary school. With small children. (and no, I don't dress in women's clothing or act in any manner at all distinguishable from decent, straight folk). You need a parent or guardian's signature to walk them across the street!

I also worked for many years in the public school system.

All gay pride parades take place on the weekend. It's INCREDIBLY rare (except for out-of-town sporting events) for there to be field trips on the weekends.

Pride Parades in most cities take place on one day out of the year. For God's sake do us all a favor and STAY HOME that day. Don't turn on the TV. Don't pick up a newspaper the next day. One friggin' day a year.

Where is the outcry for banning Mardis Gras? What about Girls Gone Wild? Why do I have to see that shit on TV between midnight and six am? Why is that perfectly acceptable 365 days a year, but on one day guys can dress like chicks and the whole world is going to come crashing down around us?

There are far better things to be panicked about.
