I wore those kind of hearing aids as a kid prior to eighth grade. They were powered by two receivers housed in a strap, wrapped around my mid-section, fastened by hooks. They were bulging things, so noticeable on the outside that kids noticed them easily as if I had a couple of boobs.

I can't tell you much I appreciated my father listening to me when I asked him to get me the BTE version of them in 1971.

I was not very proud of wearing those stringy things before the BTE version came along. I started wearing hearing aids in 1960, and kids my age in kindergarten wore them, too. The batteries were bigger then, too.

I still wear the BTE version, but the technology of them has advanced so much that I can adjust them to a level I am comfortable with. The price of them is so outrageous, though.
That's kids for ya. I was called "White boy" a lot as a slur. Go figure.

Not being facetious, just pointing out the hypocrisy there. If words are going to be banned, whether they are used satirically shouldn't matter. The manner you used the word though hardly counts as satire considering the context. The satire was thinly veiled. But I'm used to posts like that from you. I expect no less.

And what you did was much more heinous than just call names, you created an entire post denigrating her. Hatred thy name is Tristan.

Hypocrite, thy name is fxashun

(or, if you prefer, whatever is the name of the poster too cowardly to use his own name)

I thought I had called her names.

In what other ways did I denigrate her?

complaining and whining about name-calling - when you write offensive insults to every gay person on this forum, if not the earth, in every one of your derisive and contemptible posts.
