surely fxashun doesn't believe that only slave owners thought that Negro children should be kept far away from clean white school children. It wasn't slave owners that made Negroes drink from separate water fountains and kept them using clean white restrooms and sitting in the front of the buses.
That's absurd.

So - yes - just as there are many bigoted women who would abort a gay child, there are bigots who would rather kill their white daughters than see them screwing a Negro...or ever worse - bearing a half-breed high yellow grandkid.

Bigotry is bigotry. It's never pretty.

And surely you don't think that it's not a natural human desire to have another child like yourself and not be born with something that you consider unnatural. Racism by people who were forced to live with people that were brought over here as livestock is pretty much expected. But for a mother to consider the child that she bore for 9 months defective because of deformity or illness is pretty much constant across racial, cultural, and for that matter species lines.

The racism suffered by blacks and for that matter American Indians in this country was created artificially by the very racists that perpetrated it. I guess that was to be expected from a people that also couldn't get along among themselves for a while there. Italian, Irish, German, Polish etc were all different too and had their own "racist" past with each other.

But no black mother will be perplexed that her child is born black.

And as for a father killing their daughter or son for marrying a black person, that's still different from having a gay child. Dating a black person is a choice. From what I understand, being gay isn't. And your example works for any number of interracial, intercultural, and interreligious combinations.

Whereas sodomy laws were universal until recently. And the instinctive aversion to "gay" is pretty much constant throughout the human species. That ain't bigotry, that's the instinct to avoid aberrant behavior and people.

Although I do thoroughly enjoy your curious racial analogies between only black and white. As if that were the only racial issue in this country. Either you are a racist or just not all that familiar with our history.

Blind faith in that what ever "change" he will bring will be good.

when we start using words that mean anything outside the mainstream defined as WRONG we're in real trouble ... as a black man, you might understand that. In America, it's aberrant and not normal to be black.

For some reason, bigots in this country are more prevalent among blacks and whites - though I understand that blacks have quite a hate-on for hispanics and asians, as well. So, it's only natural to use the "normal" racial bigotry when making an analogy - blacks and whites.

A few more days and it's back to Iraq.

The high crime rate among blacks might have something to do with racism in America today too.

not to mention the high rate of AIDS infections - and the high rate of unwed teenage mothers and the high rate of welfare recipients, etc. etc. etc.

but, that's still just bigotry - every bit as ugly as the shit that fxashun spews on these forums

Maybe if Obama gets elected he'll "fix" all of that.

And on the planet earth and any species that resides here, it's aberrant to be homosexual.

But I'm not talking about "this country". I'm referring to humans as a species. A society can choose to look the other way for any number of unnatural things.
