Maybe it would serve a greater purpose if such a "Day of Silence" dealt with ALL causes of kids getting bullied. Focusing on only one is counterproductive [in my opinion].

Don't look to me to organize such a thing. As I stated before, my solution would be beating the shit out of the bullies as a deterent. Counseling them will do nothing whatsoever. A good ass whipping will do wonders.

Then perhaps they should have said that in the first place? Protesting against the day without saying exactly why - what do you think people will think? No offence, but I have a hard time believing that gay kids could be bullies, simply knowing what it is like to be treated unfairly themselves, why would they want to inflict the same pain on others?

With the education in this country being as low as it is compaired to other countries, the last thing we need is to have our children take another day off. You want to eliminate discrimination? Then educate them.
