Yes. I do disagree with him. I think it is innate for many people and caused by something during gestation. Although I have no doubt that some childhood trauma could cause a person to develop a belief that one is gay Or simply gay behavior. Just as it does to some adults.

In case yall haven't figured it out yet, Gary and I have differing views on homosexuality itself. We just agree that "marriage" shouldn't include it.

You might both think being gay is caused by something different, but you each find your own unique way to demonize it. What I want to know is, what happened in YOUR life that you are so averted to it to the point where you arbitrarily advocate the suffering and misery of others?

Where do you get I advocate suffering. I only advocate for the term "marriage" to refer to man and woman. The way that is self evidently proper for humans.

If you ask me "why" I feel the way I do, you just don't like my answer.

Because you know damn well if I were to just say, I think that marriage should remain between a man and woman, the first question would be "why?". It's not advocating a damn thing to simply feel that something is wrong with something. It's just stating a fact. Deal with it.

If you were really enlightened, then you WOULD believe that as long as it exists AND it doesn't cause harm to anyone, then it IS ok.

Ok as in "should be allowed to be gay without discrimination". Sounds good. Got no problem with the gay individual. Just don't call the gay union a "marriage". For previous reasons given, they don't qualify. I guess I'm not enlightened enough for that. Sorry.
