Level up: 31%, 123 Points needed | | New Laws For Same Sex Couples In Australia Gay rights improved in range of areas McClelland | Herald Sun Good news this, although the Rudd Government has drawn the line at same sex marriage, these changes are certainly a step in the right direction. In just six months, Rudd has done more for the gay community than Howard did in over a decade of power, and that is something to be commended. I have never felt so proud to be Australian. |

Just like a paraplegic needs a ramp to get in a building and elevators, there should be some concession for homosexual people too. Just don't call that concession a marriage.

Australian men are supposed to be like Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee). It would be a great disservice to us all to have an Australian emulating the likes of Gary Glitter. Leave all that gay shit to the British. After all, they are the one who invented homosexuality in the first place. |

No, we are nothing like Paul Hogan, but we do like wearing board shorts and thongs, cooking snags on the barbie with a can of VB in our hands. |

The equivalent of LA's West Hollywood in Sydney is Oxford Street in Paddington (Paddo) which the witty locals have re-named "Vaseline Alley".

Level up: 57%, 187 Points needed | | Britain did not invent America. Opressive laws made by King George are what led to the creation of America. |

Level up: 57%, 187 Points needed | | Gary, I was referring to George III. And his oppressive taxation and his armies being quarted among the population. Among other things. I know you crazy Brits still think he was grand and all, but we don't. |
