Wow, I'm so glad you called me on that one. I was totally wrong. See, I thought we were living in some futuristic alternative universe where scientists had figured out how to make a baby out of two sperm and implant ovaries into men.



I didn't say that homosexual couples have children that are the genetic makeup of the two. I said that they have children. I've written a little skit to help you understand:

Deekers: "Hey Gary, did you meet my friends, Laura and Jen last night?"

Gary: "Yes, Deekers, I did. They are a very pleasant couple. However, they said something about a little Timmy. Do you know who that might be?"

Deekers: "Why yes, that's their son. They adopted little Timmy five years ago. They also have a daughter from Jen's ex-husband, and Laura had a little girl two years ago from in vitro fertilization."

Gary: "Wow, I didn't even know they had children!"

Deekers: "Yes, Gary, they have children."

Yes, I've heard that some form of commitment ceremony was conducted for people of the same sex in the early Church. I haven't studied that myself, so I also have no words to discuss it.

I didn't say that homosexual promiscuity doesn't exist. I said that the promiscuous lifestyle of some gays are over-represented in studies done by right-wing groups on gay male sexual behavior. When they're polling gay people, they don't seek out all the couples who are staying home watching TV, having dinner with friends, or spending time with their children. They do their polling at the bars and clubs in large cities where the gays are easiest to find and identify, and where of course the lifestyles are going to be more promiscuous. It's not that there aren't promiscuous gay people; it's that most gay people aren't as promiscuous as religious leaders and politicos would have you believe.

As I said, if you wanted to know about the sexual behavior of the average heterosexual, you wouldn't only go to bars and clubs to find out, would you?

And I would say that if polled, most heterosexual sex occurs outside the boundaries of a once-in-a-lifetime relationship as well.

Aw come on! I borrowed that from a movie I once saw. You have been deemed worthy to serve me for some time. I should like a custom quilt made for me as I intend to redecorate my house upon my return from Iraq.
