You may regret what you wished for. | alimony and child support and legal division of property is IMPORTANT - it keeps deadbeats from having kids and then abandoning them - and legal division of property is very important to keep people from shooting each other.

That's not to say that I don't think the same rules should apply to a gay married couple that apply to a straight married couple. Of course they should. That's the whole point of gays having equal rights. |

Yet again activist judges have overruled the will of We The People by the narrowest of margins, 4 to 3, so that marriage can be redefined to accommodate homosexuals.
However, on the bright side this ruling will force the issue back into the open during the Presidential elections, and also the CA gubernatorial elections.
This could well drive a larger turnout of evangelical Christians to vote for McCain in November.
As for California we are left with no option but to move ahead with Plan B.
Pro-family organizations have submitted more than 1.1 million signatures for an initiative that would amend the state Constitution to outlaw same-sex marriage.
If at least 694,354 signatures are found to be valid, the measure would go on the November ballot and, if approved by voters, would override any court ruling in favor of same-sex marriage.

And by November, thousands of gays will already be married in California. |

And if the State Constitution is amended then so will any subsequent homosexual marriages.

Easy come, easy go. Poor Gary.

Hurrah!

Traditional Marriage was destroyed long ago, by a bunch of unruly heterosexual bigots.
