Firstly, I am doing much more than "suggesting" ...
I am stating, not that you are demonstrating preference, but that you are using women to produce what cannot be produced in your sexual practices. You are turning women into nothing more than baby-makers to produce a child for two gay men to raise. Or in the case of lesbians, they are turning to men to use them as nothing more than sperm, to produce a child for them to raise. Children are to not only be raised in love, but CONCEIVED in love.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one Bonnie. It is far more important that a child be raised in love. After all, what would a child remember about its conception? My daughter will never know her biological parents, but I think my wife and I more than make up for that with all the love we give her.

Pen, did I say MORE IMPORTANT? No I did not. I wrote an ideal. That the two people who parent a child, raise the child. Both acts done in love.

I did not say that to the dismissal of the love that adoptive parents give their children, but to address Tristan's idea that a family can have two fathers. Somewhere along the line, they had to use a woman. Not simply "not prefer" a woman, but use her to gain a child. Making women into mere babymakers for families of two "fathers."

My point is how would the manner of conception have any bearing on the love a child needs whilst being raised. Like Tristan said, if the kid is a product of a prostitute and a john, yet raised by loving adoptive parents, what has the child lost?
