NEVER

You never said that the APA ruling on homosexuality was decided by a vote.

We had to expose that ruse.

Homosexuals already have civil rights and equality, and preferential treatment in some areas.

After decades of claims, there is no credible evidence based on scientific research, that in any way proves homosexuality is an innate characteristic.

To date no one has been able to duplicate studies that have claimed to find a genetic component to homosexuality.

Regardless, the Bible is clear on its teaching related to homosexual behavior. To act on such an impulse is sinful and both socially and personally destructive

Homosexuals are a protected class in a number of areas including employment law, residential rental legislation and various other areas deemed "hate crimes" by the politically correct.

Apparently homosexuals need special protection under the law compared to the elderly or the disabled or women for example.

Other categories of sexual deviancy don't enjoy this distinction.

Well, first, the deviancy of homosexuality is just your opinion. And opinions are like assholes, everyone has them, and they usually stink.

Second, homosexuals are no more 'preferred' then the disabled, or any other minority. So, unless you intend to get rid of the 'preferential' treatment for those groups....

Well, then, thank God the laws of this country aren't based on the Bible, considering some of the things the Bible is for!!!

No need to be quite so self-effacing

Is there special legislation for describing an attack on a disabled person as a "hate crime"?

According to the FBI.

Each year's edition of Hate Crime Statistics presents data regarding incidents, offenses, victims, and offenders in reported crimes that were motivated in whole or in part by a bias against the victim's perceived race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Obviously, that is so. In one post here, though Tristan wants to see gay marriage legalized he said he IS married.

Here is the thing about all this gay stuff...no one wants to have that which is meant to be personal between two people forced upon the public for consideration.
If sex really is about love, then it should be counted with high regard and not made a political campaign, a you and me against the world type of exploitation.

And you know, it is sooo funny cos it has long been concluded that men can have sex for the sake of sex, without love. Men in particular. And yet, all the gay men that have spoken on this board, speak out as if they are some exception to that and are just such loving men, not having sex for sex, but for L-O-V-E!!!

And I do think partnerships that are forged out of a feeling of being disenfranchised, might endure as long as the fight lasts.

I've only been in my relationship for 35 years - what is your record? C'mon - give ME some pointers, oh compassionate and sensitive one.
