Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Wouldn't it be Really Funny?
Wouldn't it be really funny if the California November ballot overturned the recent judicial ruling? All the gay marriages would then be considered null and invalid. All of those expensive gay marriage ceremonies would be for not. Isn't that the funniest thing you can imagine?

I don't think they would be able to nullify legal marriages. The other ones that Newsome ordered were void because they were done illegally. But these will all be completely legitimate marriages. I think that is what will sway the people to not vote to overturn the ruling, since it will already be happening. And it's CA we're talking about here.

The fact you have to qualify it like that means you know that "two consenting adults" is a weak standard. There's plenty that "two consenting adults" can do that are illegal or socially repugnant.
Especially as it relates to deviant sex.

When the ballot successfully mandates an amendment to protect traditional marriage, any homosexual "marriages" that happen in the interim will be voided, or outlawed.

This includers marriages of homosexuals from other states who try to "wag the dog" back home.

I think you'll find the people of California will teach these 4 activist judges a lesson and say Yes.

Don't judge California on the 'homopoovres' parading around Folsom St or West Hollywood.

Outside of the 2 major metropolitan areas, rural California is still quite conservative, and so is the huge latin community.

So you think sibling and parent/child marriage should be legalised?

Just think of the savings on attorney fees and all the extra insurance discounts?

Isn't that what marriage is all about?

There were two people yahoo trolling with POSC names. I trolled with a POSC type name on yahoo on some boards pretending to be a bible thumper braggart who acted as if Sterling City was some great sophisticated metropolis. Because I'm a fairly well known Yahoo troller, fake POSC trolls came out. A fake POSC troll came into the St. Lucia board, using the same schtick I used but then shifting it into all the b.s. that made everyone think that POSC was TJ (and he might very well have been).

I quit using the original POSC and actually trolled the imitation POSC on the St. Lucia board. You may remember my anti POSC poetry that was posted from time to time. However, I spent most of my time on bong's board on yahoo, at least until it died off. Cmdr jalepeno and I are friends, and he knew when I was posting and knew (I think) that the shitty POSC was not me because it was clearly not my trolling style.

As anyone would figure out, there is no wealthy rancher with jets and a beauty queen wife in Sterling City, Texas. 20 years ago, I had the dubious pleasure of driving through Sterling City, and it may be one of the crappiest looking small towns I've ever been in.

I initially came in here to do a little old school POSC trolling, but I quickly realized that my imitator had created some real animosity against POSC. Therefore, I quickly switched the troll off and now post as I normally would if I was not trolling.
