You know I am not so sensitive about my girl. I would come out fightin' if anyone ever hurt her feelings, but me, for me...I am not all hot and bothered by people's terminology too much. I used to be a Deacon in the UCC. It didn't require ordination (of course). The UCC is really big on "shared ministry." That means the congregation has a lot of say in what the church does and who is pastor.

Let's not forget that their are plenty of people who deserve the title "idiot." Believe me, I understand completely how you love your child and are protective of her. I feel the same way about my little girl.
