Why would you assume that? Our ends meet just fine.

I have a stable job, a place to live, money for food, a car, and enough left over to spend on luxuries like an Xbox 360. So tell me again where my ends don't meet.

YOU need to think in more than one dimension, sir. Not everyone who doesn't measure happiness by their bank account is poor.

For the time being at least.

It only took less than 30 years since the relaxation of the divorce laws for 50% of marriage to end in divorce.

I think the effect of redefining marriage for homosexuals, or any other permutation, will be that fewer people bother to get married, more children will be raised in broken or single-parent homes, and the fabric that holds society together will be gradually eroded.

That's why it's so important to amend the Constitution in November like 26 other states.

We already know about your financial woes and inability to pay bills

You really think that there are people who won't get married because gays can marry? Are you serious?

Yes. It's already begun to happen in Canada and in the UK since the introduction of civil partnerships - not even homosexual marriage.

Redefining marriage for homosexuals makes a complete mockery of the institution.

If it happens there can be no rational basis for denying any other redefinition.

That's why the 'champions' of homosexual marriage have demonstrated their utter disregard for marriage in their personal lives.

Including guys like Gavin Newsom and Gov David Paterson.

What woes? Like I said, I have everything I need and most of the things I want. I just don't count my success in life by my bank account or credit score.

If letting gays marry mocks marriage, then it needs to be mocked. But it's only a mockery in your opinion and in the minds of other sad bigots with nothing better to worry about in their pathetic lives.

Not only my opinion but the opinion of most Americans, and most people worldwide.

Homosexual 'marriage' is a ludicrous exercise in political correctness and will inflict deep damage on society.

One thing is for sure, and that is that we will have plenty of opportunity to see if you are right.
