Even though Barr failed in three marriages at least he didn't try to redefine it.

That would be like a US citizen being a traitor three times then lobbying for all Mexicans to have the right of US citizenship.

Clinton transgressed but sought and received forgiveness from his wife.

Newsom/Villaraigosa haven't done that.

Many decent Americans with long stable marriages support the defence of traditional marriage, but how many support its redefinition to accommodate homosexuals?

You're a hypocrite, and I caught you again....and now you are trying to backpedal but it isn't working. My parents were married 59 years and just this morning my Father sent an email asking if he should come out to Cali for our wedding. We are all heartbroken that my Mom died before she could witness this joyous occasion....you know, the one that saddens you so deeply due to the bitter hatred you can't seem to let go of.

Perhaps you should realize that everything that is weird and contraversial in our American society always seems to originate in California. If you want to define moral true American moral values, that you will have to venture out of the country of California. After all, California gave us hippies, dadaism (whatever the fuck that is), pet rocks, and a whole host of stupid fucked-up fads that spew their venom upon America. The "Me" generation started in California too. That's why we have secretaries that are required by law NOT to bring coffee to their managers (too demeaning).

California is a fucked-up state and is ruled by the rich elite in the entertainment industry, and mostly populated by our "friendly neighbors from the South."

Why a disenfranshised Brit would want to live there is beyond me.

Hey Gary: if you really want to experience true America, get your stupid ass out of LA. Go where? I can give you some suggestions.
