Now that I understand this, I want to understand the justification. You mentioned that it is a perversion, and I admit that it is a form of sexual gratification which many consider abnormal.

However, why should the abnormal be a crime?

I just wanted to confirm that you are in favor of outlawing heterosexual oral sex.

The majority in this country do not share the depth of prejudice that you exhibit. While a majority is opposed to gay marriage, they are actually in favor of civil unions.

Yet, you don't give a crap about enforcing your moral rules upon others, do you.

One male putting his penis into another males rectum and then performing a sex act is an abominable offence of the gravest type and deserves to be outlawed. It is sick, twisted and uncivilized behavior.

And if a majority think otherwise and feel the act should be legal? Screw them!

I'm not sure anything you said here is actually a reason that sodomy is bad. It looks like you are simply calling people who engage in sodomy names. Here is my analysis:

"Abominable" really means like "hated" or "loathsome", which is a matter of opinion. So when you say that sodomy should be banned because it is an "abominable offense", you are really only saying, "sodomy should be banned because I hate it."

That sodomy is "sick" is a claim unbacked by science. Scientists today do not consider engaging in sodomy a disorder of any kind. Even if it were considered some sort of disorder, we certainly don't throw people with disorders in prison.

Alternately, you may have been using the word "sick" to say that you find it disgusting.

That sodomy is "twisted" seems to mean that sodomy takes "normal" sex, and alters it in a fashion which you find wrong.

Calling sodomy "uncivilized" is strange, since the level of culture, technology, and science in a society seem to have no bearing on the number of people who engage in sodomy. I'd have to say you are incorrect in describing it as uncivilized. Either way, we again do not typically ban that which is uncivilized.

So, from what I can tell, you were simply saying, "I find sodomy disgusting, and I hate it, therefore it should be outlawed." Did you say anything more which I missed? Do you have anything to add to that?

Gay sex is so much worse than murder or stealing, I agree. I mean A man is attracted to another man, and they have consensual sex, it should bother us. I mean we have to be 10 blocks away and not have it realy effect us and everything.

Get over your damned self. This is 2006, not 1936. The laws of biblicaly condemned sins dosnt constitute a crime anymore. Blacks can look at white women, Gays can have sex, and get married. Women can run for office, and people like you should go live in medievil Europe.

So? There used to be laws in this country against consuming or selling alcohol also. So what?

What slays me about this situation is your abject ignorance. You don't seem to realize that a few generations ago, people considered heterosexual oral sex as "perverse".

Throwing people in jail for having gay sex is way over the top for me. Let God do his job, its not for us to judge. One thing the Christains on here have to realize is, if your message is without love, then its without God as well.

No such thing as sodomy between Hetrosexual couples in the Christian ethic. God honors anyting in the bedroom between two married people.

They just do not want people to have freedom of choice in this country if it contradicts thier religion. Christian fundamentalists are against personal Liberty. THey are the most backwards thinking hyporcrits in the world.
