I give blood on a regular basis - at least until a couple years ago when I was overseas several times for business reasons.

UNLIKE YOU, I was HONEST when I filled out the paperwork, and HONEST when asked the questions. So I didn't give blood.

WHY? Because I didn't want the possibility of giving "possibly" tainted blood to some innocent person.

WhatEVER makes you think that I would enter religious instruction with you?
If you want to know the teachings of the United Church of Christ, do a google search...it's a very very large mainstream American Christian church and there are myriad websites from which your questions can be answered.
I'm certainly not interested in such an instruction with you.

Unless he's HIV positive, I see no problem. That question shouldn't even be on the questionnaire. You ight as well as if you're a minority, period, because, STATISTICALLY, they've got an above average rate of HIV. Why don't we do that? Because it's prejudiced to assume every member of every ethnic group has the negative characteristics of a few members.

That and blood is now screened anyway, so anybody lying or unknowing of their infection won't have their blood donated anyway. Today there's such thing as a double check, whereas in the '80s they just sucked it out and pumped it into someone else.

And for the record, I KNOW what the rapidly declining United Church of Christ teaches. And I KNOW what kind of a sick pervert you are. I think it's entirely likely that the two facts are connected. I have no doubt that if the people sitting by you in the pew knew what kind of detestable things you do, even they would get up and walk away.

YOU HAVE TO LIE TO GIVE BLOOD, IF YOU'RE A PRACTICING HOMOSEXUAL. I've filled out the forms dozens of times - and I had the integrity to stop giving blood as a result of being overseas on business.
