The irony being that an "echo" comes from only one person.
It just sounds like it's repeating because of acoustic illusion. Trickery.

And the really stupid part is you claim to echo his claim, but the next sentences you type have nothing to do with what he is ACTUALLY saying...

You are right. The institution of marriage has anough problems without redefining it to include deviant minorities.
And there you go, just like "fxashun".
Changing the subject.

I was pointing out how his claims were inaccurate.
And you completely side-stepped that, didn't you.
How predictable...

Speaking of changing the subject....For various reasons I've decided to not care aboutt his topic any more. I will like to thank evryone here for some lively debate though. And you guys really woke me up to the whole "gay marriage" thing. I didn't even know Ga already had an amendment soundly pass here so I'm Okay there. I've progressed beyond worrying about the dying state of the traditional family and marriage. In doing some readng on the gay marriage thing, I ran across something even more terrifying....

Cloning and general genetic manipulation and the ethics envolved. I rad another article somewhere about all the different theoretical combinations of ways they can concoct human life these days. Scary. No point worrying about how "real" a marriage is if the people are "fake". I'll still be around, but in the larger picture, this doesn't seem like a fight worth fighting to me.

Have a good one.

It is not gay marriage that is changing "traditional marriage". It is technology that is changing "traditional marriage". Perhaps people that want to preserve "traditional marriage should become luddites?

It's funny how the HETEROSEXUAL side of the coin has decimated the "traditional family", and yet all you focus on is the gay marriage issue.
It kind of proves where your REAL interest lay all along...

I can't help but wonder if you'll post on this message board again.
And if you do, will it still be exclusively on the gay threads...

Technology is changing the people and how we have them. When you can "order" the characteristics of your children like you are buying a Chevy, you gotta wonder about the future of the human race. People can combine thier genetic material and have someone else have the baby. They are even doing cross species gestation. And I was worried about gay folk getting married???

Speaking of straight people ruining marriage too. I have been with my wife for the past 12 years. I met her on AOL when she was 16(told me she was eighteen) and I was 25. We have been together ever since. And while I was an AOL ho at the time, I was her first. I don't know a single couple anywhere near our age that has been togrether as long as we have been together. And those that are together, don't seem to be happy. Maybe one of the arguments that you guys have is right, marriage just ain't what it used to be, so might as well let the gay folk join. As the studies show, fewer people are getting married any way, those that do, do it later, and they still get divorced.

Plus the site only has like 716 members, and I'm getting tired of reading the same people arguing. LOL. How old is this site any way?

The gay marriage thread was what brought me here. I googled something and the site came up. And hey, I like a good argument. Along the way I found I'm obviously living in the right state, I'm happy for now. I may navigate elsewhere while I'm on dialysis now though. But as for the long drawn out stuff...naaa.

And one of the biggest reasons I'm moving on a bit is I'm disappointed no one said anything about France and SC banning gay marriage last week. Those were big news. I tried to to start a forum, twice. I don't mind a bit of bias, but dam.

There is another argument that marriage is an outdated concept, though I would also argue against that, it is yet another opinion on the matter.
I think ythe problem is that men in general are just whores. And women used to be the spigot that kept us in check. But with the women throwin' a$$ at you left and right, you have to be careful out there. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta and I see young girls dressed in stuff hookers wouldn't wear when I was a kid. Women have no virtue any more. And men never had it.

The "I'm a ho" generation is here.

I'm talking about much more than bio technology. I am also talking about the change of society from an agrian society to an industrial, to a nuclear, to a information society.
