Well, I think it's immoral to bash, belittle and berate an entire group of people based solely on their sexual orientation.

I'm sure that a good portion of Americans would feel the same way.

Quite frankly, NONE of them should be "bashed, berated, or belittled".
It doesn't really serve a purpose.

People can disagree without having to resort to "bashing, berating, or belittling".

And if a person's disagreement comes up SOLELY in the form of "bashing, berating, or belittling", it demonstrates his stance on the issue isn't that solid to begin with...
