I read them, you avoided answering the question about how one person can endow another with "inalienable rights".

If you think of an answer let me know

Though it is clearly a theological absurdity to combine theism and atheism; politically theism and atheism have that in common.

It is not the obligation of U.S. government to be against theology.
It is the obligation of U.S. government to be without theocracy.

See the difference?

I disagree.
Their right to flail their fist ends short of where my nose begins.
If they want to pray, there isn't anything less than coma or death which can prevent them; no matter who, no matter where they are.
If they insist upon group prayer, they may do so, if they do so unobtrusively.
But their demand to be able to proselytize with coercive group prayer in inconvenient places at disruptive times crosses the line.

It seems to be the ruling of SCOTUS that freedom of religion also means freedom from religion. I resolutely endorse that doctrine.

100,000 + people have graduated from Liberty University and will work to continue his legacy

I'm sure Jesus welcomed him home with open arms and said "Well done Jerry you good and faithful servant - and by the way, Tinky Winky was OK".
What does us being pro-gay rights have to do with anything? Must you bring up irrelevant issues every time ou respond? Honestly, I'm more anti-evangelical than pro-gay rights, even though I give both a considerable deal fo attention. You NEVER get on my case about that.

You wanna post? Stop changing the subject and stop acting like a goddamn hypocrite.

I learned something very important...

*insert sentimental South Park music*

It doesn't matter how "rights" or "morals" develop, and the reasoning behind it doesn't need to be explored. Whether or not it's a human or divine development is irrelevant. nobody chooses consciously whether or not to do good or evil, and nobody seriously considers either on purely philosophical grounds. It's just what you do. The good do good and the evil do evil. There's little if any thought involved, only the feeling of compassion, hate, greed, empathy, or love.

I don't get how everything in our minds needs a cause. The point is that inalienable rights are here, they are accepted, and they are beneficial. Do good for the sake of good, not for the sake of God.

Does that mean all of the rights enumerated in the Constitution are only metaphorical and not real?
It means that if we truly believed that they were invalid we'd have objected by now, but it's perfectly fine to most of us (can't speak for the nihilists & satanists), so why is it a problem for you?
