| Which side has stronger candidates?? Now that the televised debates have occurred for both sides who do you think has a stronger group of candidates??? The reps or the dems??? And why the hell do the American citizens think a 2 party system is fair? --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. | I would say Rep's on the sole position of Mitt Romney right now...He holds a great lead in Iowa and NH right now and they are said to be the key states in the election this year. Mitt will win the canadacy on the Rep side and go all the way to the White House. What Profit Is It To A Man...If He Gains The World But Loses His Own Soul {Matthew 16:26} | |||||||||||||||||||||

| [quote] "Who has the strongest group of Presidential candidates?" [quote] I'm w/ Hio, though perhaps for different reason. Romney is a strong candidate. Giuliani is campaigning on sort of a one-note basis. But he proved himself an able federal prosecutor, and an excellent NYC mayor. But I believe Fred Thompson may have the real muscle, among Republican candidates. Fred may not yet have announced. But I don't think it's too hard to guess what his intentions are. On the Dems. side, they've got Richardson. He's got an impressive résumé. But he's regarded a "second tier" candidate, even among the Dems. "Work is the curse of the drinking classes." | I think you guys are nuts. I have never seen such a landslide difference since I have been monitoring Presidential elections in favor of the Democrats. You have Romney, who mainstream America has barely heard of. And you got Giuliani, who let evidence from the largest crime scene in America's history just be carried off without investigation (complete failure of leadership). Ron Paul seems like the smartest Rep... meaning he probably doesn't have a chance in hell (for reasons that escape me). I don't think Bill Richardson has a chance in hell, but I think the Democrats truly represent what mainstream America wants at this point in time: Universal Healthcare, keeping abortion legal (sure republican wives follow their husbands for the most part- NOT HERE), pro gay marriage and getting the hell outta Iraq. The Democrats surely have the major issues in their corner this election. But again I ask why the American public eats shit and thinks it's gourmet??? Why do we allow ourselves to be the pawns of a two party system??? --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Then he has a shot. He certainly has less of the American spotlight when compared to the dems Clinton, Obama or Gore. Why vote for a republican when their candidates really don't represent those views on the whole? --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. | What about what the Rep's say about the effort to enforce the borders more? I think that is a major view the whole want done....this auto-amnisty crap for the 12mil "Crimaliens" in the US already is pathetic....and the Dem's want that! That aside the Dems are no weaker on homeland security than the Reps. Remember 9/11 happened on Bush's watch... gasp... a Republican!!! What this country really needs is more than 2 damn political parties to choose between. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. | Bush doesnt count as a Rep :P After he went into Iraq with no proof and the WMD crap the Rep party should of disowned him in a sense. And the Dems dont care about border control, they dont want a border PERIOD! They want every "Crimalien" in the US as of right now to be given immedite citizenship and amnesty. And didnt Clinton know about Osama and the threat he posed but didnt do anything to strengthen our defense or ready us if there was an attempt...He basicly set Bush up.
