If anything not having a national language can only hurt you. We should really be helping these immigrants learn English it makes no sense to me why we would need two main languages. It isn't heading towards English, that is for sure. Politicians even have to speak it these days.  I don't care for it whatsoever. If you are going to live in America learn English.  | I don't speak spanish either!!! If they make it a national language I won't learn it but does that mean I care if they call spanish a national language? Nothing will change for us english only Americans. The only difference will be the new label on the spanish language. If the majority of this country speaks spanish it is the fair thing to do to make spanish the national language! This is suppose to be America.
