Cindy The Attention Whore Arrested Again
This just confirms what we've known all along.

Cindy Sheehan is an attention whore, and a laughing stock.

She has completely ruined what could have and should have been a good cause, and has become nothing more than a nut-job tool of the Bush-Hating Liberal Press.

NEW YORK

e09012ab987e@news.ap.org Cindy Sheehan, who drew international attention when she camped outside President Bush's ranch to protest the Iraq war, was arrested Monday along with three other women during a demonstration demanding the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

The march to the U.S. Mission to the United Nations by about a dozen U.S. and Iraqi anti-war activists followed a news conference at U.N. headquarters, where Iraqi women described daily killings and ambulance bombings as part of the escalating violence that keeps women in their homes.

Women Say No to War, which helped organize the news conference and march, said Sheehan and three other women were arrested while trying to deliver a petition to the U.S. Mission to the United Nations with more than 60,000 signatures urging the "withdrawal all troops and all foreign fighters from Iraq." Police said they were arrested for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.

Richard Grenell, the spokesman for the U.S. Mission, said in response to Sheehan's arrest: "We invited her in to discuss her concerns with a U.S. Mission employee. She chose not to come in but to lay down in front of the building and block the entrance. It was clearly designed to be a media stunt, not aimed at rational discussion," Grenell said.

At the news conference, Sheehan said when her 24-year-old son _ a U.S. soldier killed in Iraq _ died in April 2004, "the morgues were filled with innocent men, women and children."

Entessa Mohammed, a pharmicist who works at a hospital in Baghdad, became tearful when recalling the deaths and injuries she said she has witnessed daily.

She estimated that 1,600 Iraqis are killed in Baghdad every month, with a greater number injured. "Thanks for the liberation from Saddam" Hussein, Mohammed said, addressing the Bush administration, "now please go out."

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

The link you provided is for something else entirely,
I think it is about the state of Texas saying it is alright for our lawmakers to break the law.
And damn that Cindy Sheehan for standing up for what she believes in, acting unrepublician, after losing a child to a war that she knows is bull! She should be arrested and maybe we'll make up a story about what a joke she is, to discredit her. Lets make her a nut-job tool of the bush loving conservative press. We all know who the nut job is here. Atleast she is out there standing up for what she believes in. It was her choice to do something that would get her arrested. You on the other hand are putting down someone's convictions without any substance to your argument. What is it you are doing for your beliefs, other than bashing Cindy Sheehan? The war is all about profits and we are wrong to be in Iraq.
She is right, Bush is wrong and I bet your cat still knows where to piss.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

Yeah, bad link. Sorry.

One of the pictures, with the article, was Cindy actually smiling as she's being led away - as if it had been years since she's actually had a man touch her.

But the REAL point is this: NOBODY IS LISTENING TO CINDY SHEEHAN ANYMORE. Her little publicity stunts and constant attention-whoring have made her irrelevant. At this point, you have to "search" in obsure news sources to even find ou what she's doing.

"Cindy Sheehan and three other women were protesting..."

I don't think even Playboy would be that stupid.

Sheehan's problem is the lack of credibility.

She has a perfectly legitimate cause - even though her "grief" over the death of her son is clouded by the fact that she divorced his father and didn't raise him.

But she's now spun off into idiotic behavior. She had a chance to do something very significant and make a national point. But she has blown it, and nobody is paying attention anymore - outside a sordid desire for a little amusement at her expense...
