Gary: I've spent a lot time myself playing Devil's Advocate on IRC. It would be bullshit because it's a game. Yes, there's always an opposing argument. That doesn't make it a valid position or worthwhile view and it would be up to the listener to expose that fact.

A "argument" and something worth believing in are two very different things.

Interesting feedback but in my experience most people call in to voice their opinion and are usually denied that chance by some windbag talk show host who cuts them off so he can talk.

Also, most shows take calls from people who agree and are seeking self-affirmation.

I want callers who are prepared to defend their truth rather than get a back slap.
