Pornography
Should pornography be illegal? Should we be subjected to heavy censorship?

Personally I am VERY pro porn. Not because I am a pervert (I am), but think about this. If I am lonely and horny, I can stay at home and masturbate, or I can go out and have sex with a random woman, who could be your 18 year old daughter. Isn't it better to avoid the risks of unwanted pregnancy and spreading disease, to keep someone in the house? I personally have used it as a way of saving money at times, rather than the costs associated with going out and picking up a woman, I can stay at home and pleasure myself. What's wrong with that? I have a fiance, and she enjoys porn also, sometimes we enjoy it together. Isn't that better than cheating on each other? What are your opinions?

Actually several republicans in congress (mostly extreme right-wing religious types) have had discussions to the effect. There are a number of civic organizations against it, and most all Jesus freaks will tell you that it's a sin. They are acusing everything from Janet Jackson (probably the most PG pop star on earth) to Howard Stern, of being porographic. Clearchannel (a hideous company) is censoring things like crazy, and lets not forget all the shit they have given Larry Flint over the years.

Pornography is at the forefront of the freedom of speech debate. Christians scare the bejeesus out of me, and I am afraid that they will call for an end to Porn and all other forms of freespeach in this country.

The web is full of misguided organizations like this one:

wow.

I am a Republican and also religous, but I don't believe we should have any bans on pornography. I'm sure the percentage of Republicans that are against pornography is very, very low. A couple ding dongs may have said it's wrong but you can't blame the religous republicans.

I agree that the movement is that of a minority, but judging by thewar declared against Larry Flynt, it is a dedicated one and backed by some powerful people, like Jerry Falwell, there's a Religous political crackpot who needs to keep his nose out of other peoples buisness.

When it comes to porn I say, let he who is without sin cast the first stone...

It's not so much that they have more important things to worry about, it's that they fail to see they have more important things to worry about.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high
