Oh, I very much plan to. In fact I am a citizen of Sweden and plan to raise kids there. Much more secure society than what a capitalist system can produce.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Obviously, it is a much better system for you. As for me, I chose to raise my kids with their parents as their main influence and not the state. Good luck.

Alias, that is a common misconception which I think is more common than it should be. Just because children are provided with adequate healthcare and equality doesn't mean the state is intervening with the family's morale values. I don't know how those two got connected.

To imply that Swedish kids don't have their parents as their main influence is laughable. (really, I actually laughed). The Swedish government is there for support, not to dictate the will of citizens. People are still free to their religion, speech and way of life just like in America.

Have you ever been out of the country alias?

The state is already intervening in children's lives with their education system. It is for the most part a system I abhore. My last one went to private school.

I don't hate sweden. I just want no part of a socialist government. I just prefer to live where I do right now. I am very content. I've been to Canada a few times and Mexico once. I have no inclincation to go anywhere. My wife wants to go on a Mediterranean cruise one of these days, but I don't know how that is going to happen since I don't fly.

While agree with you on the stereotypical view of socialism this is not the current state of most functional socialism based systems. The hybrid between capitalism and socialism is called "social democracy" and produces some of the most stable societies on the planet.

As far as the flying thing goes try this: http://www.cunard.com/
Expensive as hell but you will not be disappointed.

I prefer the stable society in my part of the world. Just my preference. There is no way I am ever leaving my little slice of heaven in Northeastern Washington. But hey, that's just me.

Northeastern Washington is very beautiful. I came from the east coast to Seattle for college and simply fell in love with the area and the people here.

I just don't consider a stable society to be one of such class difference and as a result violent crime.

I am not class conscious. I have been very poor (lived on the streets even) and I was never involved in violent crimes.
