1. Poorer Americans get Pell Grants, and other educational assistance. The poor in America can easily get a free-ride to college. It's called "financial assistance, and happens all the time.
2. Working hard at a minimum wage job is FAR more beneficial than not working at all. NO employer is going to hire a loser that's been sitting around "waiting for the right job".

I hate crybaby excuse makers. In the end, they spend their whole lives doing nothing but being crybaby excuse makers. Nothing is ever good enough. Nothing ever works - and it's always somebody else's fault. You could give them a million dollars for doing nothing, and they'd complain that it wasn't two million dollars. Then they'd go out and blow it, and complain because they're poor.

So 40 million Americans who can't afford health insurance are just being "lazy cry babies".

Yeah, and pigs will start flying soon. It could perhaps be an underlying problem with capitalism. Just a wild guess

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

WELFARE STATE

It works dude.. it really does. Tell the top 5% earners in the US to pay an extra 10% in tax.. will that affect anything other than the fact that these people will get richer at a lesser rate?

Use this money to subsidize minimum wage. Or spend the money on education.. or on a million other things that the US can't "afford".

Alternatively buy a few weapons less for the army. Or de-commission a nuke or two. These are all billion dollar costs. Are they more important than people having a decent wage? Nobody even comes CLOSE to america's military strength.. how much stronger does it need to be??

20%+ unemployment, rioting, sluggish economy. That is why the welfare state is a bad idea.

How many of those 40 million Americans are on public assistance - aka, Medical Assistance or Title IX?

The answer? MOST!

They've figured it out! Why buy health insurance from a private provider, when you can live off the state - and public health facilities CANNOT, by law, deny you service.

It's not that hard to figure out!

I know, for a fact, that a family of 5 in Minnesota can make just under $40,000 per year and still be on Minnesota's equivalent of MA. It's called MinnesotaCare - and the family pays a small premium, based on their income.

Would you like me to MAIL you some books and tech manuals about it?
