If you ask me what was racist about New Orleans was the fact that our government took a week to reach them. There is no excuse but racism for that. Nothing was preventing help from arriving... in fact news crews were there. If they could reach them our government certainly could have.

What prevented Nagin from using those hundreds of school buses after he was explicityly told by Bush to evacuate the city before the stom hit?
Bush warned them all before the stom hit to head for higher ground. Who are you going to blame now for the racism you nasty racist thing? Bush told them to head for higher ground before the storm hit and Nagin let the buses sit. Looks like Nagin doesn't like chocolate if you ask me. It also looks like you like to holler fire in a crowded theater without any evidence except your racist views.

The buses were certainly a mistake that could have saved many lives in hindsight.

There was no hindsight in the fact that it took our government a week to get aid to the victims when cleared to do so days before the hurricane hit.

I see your point and it is a good one. Nagin should have evacuated earlier but the city still had 24 hours to get out. That should be enough time to take a few cherished possessions and get the hell out if you can.

A week to get aid to victims is unforgivable.

And the boss was fired. There was no racism proven. So according to you first statement, Nagin is a racist.
