You are right, it was racist.

But I understand where he was coming from... and I don't think there was any ill will behind it. What threat is a chocolate New Orleans? New Orleans has always been a chocolate city!

It would have been another thing if he said "Kill Whitey"

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Okay. Thank you for seeing it. The point is if a white mayor said he wanted a vanilla city, the reaction would have been for immediate resignation. Instead this guy gets reelected. Can you understand why conservatives are always saying there is a double standard. Can you see that also now?

Yes, I can see that double standard. A white mayor could not call for a vanilla city obviously. But you have to understand the difference of intent had a white man said something like that. There is a difference when you represent the majority versus minority.

Okay. So what I am hearing you say is that if a white mayor lived in a city that had a majority of white people, it would be okay with you if the white mayor of that predominantly white city said he wanted a vanilla city.

Unbelievable.
