Okay. Then why does Jesus say the Pharisees are condemning the innocent in Verse 7? Hang on, we're getting close and you aint gonna like it.

Do you listen to ANYTHING that I say? At all?

I mean, I KNOW you disagree with what I say, but it would seem you should be able to at least REMEMBER what I said...

First of all, this Socratic method crap is a bad idea for these discussions. REALLY bad. You can't "lead" me to your conclusions because my interpretation and answers are not yours...

Second, you already asked me this question.
I'm tempted to tell you to go look it up and fricken write it down next time so you don't ask me the same thing over and over again, but I'll reserve that for next time.
This is your freebie, mostly because it gets back to my point #1...

Jesus is obfuscating.
He has given NO REASON as to why anybody would be "guiltless" here. They were caught red-handed with their hand in the cookie jar.
You read a LOT of words into these passages which JUST ARE NOT THERE.
You IGNORE parts of the passages which ARE there, like Jesus EXPLICITLY stating that David's actions were unlawful.

And now you're just chasing your tail by asking the same questions and making the same arguments which have already been made.
And you STILL aren't going to counter my responses with anything meaningful.

You CANNOT reason your way to a blind belief in Jesus's statements.
We diverge here at a critical juncture. You believe Jesus who says his hand is not in the cookie jar and these are not the droids you are looking for, and I think he's obfuscating.

Dollars to doughnuts says I can predict your response to this post...

Hmmm. I was off in my prediction, but your reply WAS predictable.

You have REPEATEDLY pretended I didn't answer your question, when I obviously did.

I answered your question. I have answered your question REPEATEDLY in the past.

You don't like the answer, or you can't remember it...
Go re-read what I said.

Are you mentally damaged?
Seriously.

Just honestly answer that question, because I don't think you realize that you JUST ASKED that question.
And then you ask it again like it's a new subsequent question.

It's already been answered.
Move on...

So here is your answer:

"Jesus is obfuscating.
He has given NO REASON as to why anybody would be "guiltless" here. They were caught red-handed with their hand in the cookie jar".

Those words are no where in there. Now who is reading something into it? He was not caught red-handed in the cookie jar. THOSE ARE YOUR WORDS.

I ask again. Why did Jesus say they were guiltless after the Pharisees said they were? There must be a reason. The answer is right in the passage, but you will not say it because your entire agenda is destroyed. The answer is right there. You see it, but you will not say it because you are a dishonest person.

Jesus said he is LORD OF THE SABBATH.

Now when you understand that, you will have your answer. Jesus said the pharisees didn't understand it and because you don't understand it you are a pharisee also. Gotcha big time. Now throw your hissy fit of a thousand words insulting me so you feel better. I'm going fishing.

OMG. You CAN recognize an answer when you need to.
Can it be that you CAN evolve?

And we're back to the incapability to comprehend.
You asked me WHY Jesus said those words. You asked for MY INTERPRETATION.
So, I gave it to you. MY interpretation.
I never claimed those words were in there.
You asked WHY Jesus said something, and I told you WHY Jesus said that thing.

THIS is the reason I told you NOT to ask leading questions in an effort to make your point....

MORE progress. You realize that you have asked that question before.
Is this a miracle?

Asked and answered.
Don't ask me "why" Jesus said something when I JUST TOLD YOU why I think he said that thing.

No. The answer IS NOT right there.
NONE of the things you read into it are there.

In this world, when people say things, it's rationale to question if what they say is the truth.
YOU blindly assume that what Jesus said IS the truth.
I am not bound by that assumption. I am taking in the context of the ENTIRE biblical law and prophecy.

YOU are IGNORING that context in order to believe Jesus.
You PROVED that you are ignoring that context when you start in with the "Jesus is above the law" riff...

Nope. I said the answer is right in the passage and it is. You choose to ignore it. David and his men were not guilty. Jesus is siting a precendent just like lawyers do. Jesus said physical needs were above the law.

Then verse 8 he says he is Lord of the Sabbath. He is Lord, he is above the law.

I'm sorry, but you seem to have a problem with God being able to do what he wishes. Looks like you can't control every little corner of your world. We can all plainly see how insecure you are and terribly desparate to make your point out of your hatred for God. That is why you can't do it. You are positive you are, but we can all see you are frustrated now and it comes out in your answers. God is judge and jury and you don't like it. Too bad, so sad.

You claim I am blindly believing what Jesus said is the truth. That was not the claim when you started this thread. Your claim was that the bible had contradictions, not whether it was the truth or not. Your claim has been proven untrue, so now you move the goal post and say you don't believe it because it's not the truth. That was not the idea here. Whether it is the truth or not is not the discussion. The discussion was about your claim of contradictions. You are a dishonest person.

Next contradiction, or do you need to take some time off to let your red ass heal?

You really can't see the forest for the trees at times, can you...

The bible has contradictions, and therefore it obviously CANNOT be absolute truth. The two go virtually hand in hand.

Your complaint that I did not "start" this thread with that statement is inane and pointless.

Again, you misrepresent the situation.
I don't believe it, at least in part, because of the contradictions. The contradictions demonstrate that it is not truth.

The only way YOU can get past the contradictions is to believe it to be INHERENTLY truth, without question. To believe whatever Jesus says, without question. Without objectivity.

Here we go again with this "dishonest person" crap.
And you whined about me of being "rude" in another thread?
ROFLMAO!

I've already given you the third contradiction earlier in this thread.

But I can understand why you're desparate to change the subject from this one...

Your claim that David was not guilty is DIRECTLY violating Jesus's EXPLICIT admission.

Jesus was CHANGING the law from the original and traditional Mosaic law.
Ergo, he WAS NOT keeping the Mosaic law, but rather his bastardized version of it.
Still, ultimately, a violation of Christian dogma...

The first sentence is what it says.
The second sentence is what you are ADDING TO the passage, which is NOT PRESENT in the passage at all.

It's like Jane saying "I went to the mall"
And then Jim claims that Jane said "She went to the mall, and then she went to a sleazy motel."

You still can't comprehend what the issue is here...

WoW!
And to think in another thread you whined and stamped your feet calling me "rude"!
You are a real hypocritical hoot.

To borrow something you said earlier, you don't know me.
I don't hate God. I just don't believe in what YOU CLAIM is God.
