09/11 did change everything. I heard the president say it was a war on terror.
And what "terror" did Iraq inflict upon the U.S.?

You don't get it, and I'm not surprised, most liberals don't. Iraq was a sponsor and supporter of terrorism. Zarquawi never attacked the US, but he's dead isn't he! The war is against terrorism. That means terrorists are going to be the target. Get it????

And here is your answer to all those civilian deaths. You tell me what you think.

Tom Grey answers David Crow's request the empirical basis for his statement on the number of dead under Saddam Hussein. "See http://www.gbn.org/ArticleDisplaySer...=2400&msp=1242 Here is an excerpt:":Along with other human rights organizations, The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam's needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam's reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam's 8,000-odd days in power"

I don't know why you're crying about civilian deaths. We dropped 2 bombs on Japan that anihilated 300,000 civilians in seconds. Oh by the way, that was a democrat president who did that.

Yes. "Terrorists".
So who did Hussein "terrorize"?
Was it the U.S.?

Go ahead. You can admit the answer is NO.

How many had he killed in the last couple of years before we invaded?

Do you REALLY want to get into that too???

And do you REALLY not get the fact that "democrat" or "republican" doesn't matter to me with regards to assigning blame?
That's your hang-up. Not mine...

Yes, Saddam terrorized the US. When he supports terrorism and funds terrorism, he terrorizes the US. The war is against terrorism and Saddam was a terrorist. The idea is to kill the enemy and Saddam was an enemy of the US who was not obeying the cease fire he agreed to. You can't put this in a box with your label on it.

What does "the last couple of years" have to do with anything. That's like saying.....Well the guy used to kill innocent people by the hundreds of thousands, but in the last couple years he has only killed a few thousand. What a great guy. Let's give him a big kiss. What bullshit.

You are really looking desparate on this. Keep going, this is giong to be fun.

Okay. How about inbetween the time we LAST invaded Iraq, and our CURRENT invasion of Iraq?

After our last invasion, we obviously thought he hadn't killed enough people to take out.
What's his count for that time frame?

All terrorism threatens the US because US citizens are killed all over the world all the time. You don't have to be a Fox News fan to love the truth. Here is a link to Iraq history. Scrool down to February 28, 1991 and you will see there was a cease fire, not a surrender. The war never ended, only suspended.

It doesn't matter what the death count was. The fact is he was a murderer of hundreds of thousands of people and funding terrorism and had to be removed.

Keep going, you're looking more desparate as the day goes on.

And WHO violated that cease fire?

Oh yeah. The U.S.!

And you STILL didn't answer the question. Even as you keep trying to spin and spin, you just CANNOT answer the question.
To use your last ploy, name me any American citizen who had Saddam's "terrorism" kill him since the "cease-fire"...

You keep moving the goal post like you always do. Follow this thread and you can see your pathetic argument has been torn to shreds.

So you would let a murderer go just because he had not murdered anyone during the last couple years? That is plain idiotic. Besides that, you don't know how many people he murdered during the cease fire. Desparate.

Show me the evidence the US broke the cease fire.

You keep making claims, but when people ask you for PROOF of your claims, you habitually are incapable of providing any.

WHERE Have I "moved the goal posts"?

Bush SENIOR let that "murderer" go.
Dick CHENEY said that he wasn't worth taking down.

I'm just trying to figure out what the hell has changed since that time whereby it justifies our current actions...

Man-o-man-o-man-o-man!
It's like you're playing chess, but it's not just that you can't think two moves ahead, you are shocked when your move gets your queen killed in the very next move.

Okay. We currently OCCUPY that country.
We can ask questions, investigate, etc. etc...
Don't you think we should be able to FIGURE OUT how many people he murdered during the cease fire?

What has changed is now there is a war on terror and you can't seem to grasp that fact.

No, it's not me who is completely stupid, but everyone can see who is. The USA did not break the cease fire. Saddam broke the cease fire every time he fired on our planes and murdering Kurds after the cease fire. Where you been the last 15 years, at a gay parade?
