Did they check to make sure that none of the liberal troop members got any?
It would be awful if that happened...

1) I keep in touch with most of the guys I knew from the military. And almost all of them are straight...

But, I do realize your intent was to slur our troops just because they are friends with me. Further demonstrating how limited your "support" truly is...

2) Why did you avoid what I said?

When the war first began, I wanted them to successfully overthrown the Iraqi government, and I wanted minimal casualties on both sides. Now that we have overthrown the Iraqi government, I want them to successfully defend the people and the government.

Prior to the war starting, I did not want war to be declared because I did not believe our cause for going war would justify the deaths. Once the war began, those deaths were not avoidable. It is not that I wanted our troops to die or lose in their fight. I wanted them not to be sent to fight in the first place.

The only person in the military I know is Tadpole, and I barely know him. Should I be sending him packages to show my support of troops everywhere? I am currently sending no such packages to any troops, nor do I have a "support our troops" bumper sticker, nor do I think doing those things would accomplish anything worthwhile.

So? Do you consider me to be supporting the troops?

Supporting the troops means not putting them in danger unless absolutely necessary. Iraq posed no threat to America and did not have a connection to 9/11 (Bush's own words).

Supporting the troops means bringing them home.

haha.
That was an "inside joke" regarding alias's earlier comment about how alias does not supporting the "liberal" troops. Only the conservative ones...
It wasn't really regarding tadpole, and I figured it would be too much of a pain to try and get alias to understand the whole picture...

That's nice. What are you doing to support our troops doing their jobs in Afghanistan and Iraq?

What are you doing to support them while they are over there doing their job?
