Are you another liberal with a comprehension problem? Go to the third post on this page. Okay, now it's your turn. What have you done support the troops?

Nope, sorry. I'm not liberal, nor conservative. I have major problems with both ideologies, and with people who think that either side has all the answers. I can think for myself, and don't need a party to tell me how to feel about each issue.

I missed your post on the first run through, I'm sure the packages were appreciated.

What have I done. Hmmm. Well there's care packages, donations to the Navy and Marine Corps Society, volunteering for homeless vets, and the fact that I'm on Active Duty in the Navy. I think I do my share.

I am a firm believer that the best way to support the Troops is to bring them home. You can send all the snacks and wet wipes you want, but which would a soldier rather have, a box of Oreos today or both of his legs next year?

Thank you for your service. The cost of war is terrible. I would much rather live in a peacful world. Unfortunately, there are evil people who wish to harm us. That is why we have a military.

I send a lot more than oreos and wet wipes. I also have family over there.

I don't need a party to tell me how to think either. I just have chosen the party that is standing up to the evil and not the party that is for retreat.

I am a firm believer in fighting back.

Alias, tell this organization that by encouraging them to stay over there, you are supporting the troops.

Why would I tell them to stay over there? They have obviously done their part. They have the right to be against the war.

By "them" I meant currently serving soldiers, not veterans.

I would thank them for their service like I do all soldiers. When I see a soldier at a restaurant or at the bar, I buy their drink or their meal. I don't ask them their political views. What do you do when you see a soldier at the bar or a restaurant?

I let them eat. But if I'm engaged in conversation with one, I usually thank them for their service. But does it matter?

I let them eat also. I don't bother them. I just tell the waitress I'm picking up their check. It doesn't matter. It just matters that we support them any way we can and that's how I do it.
