The Bush Haters Are Hurting America...
The Bush Haters Are Hurting America...
Wednesday, September 06, 2006
By Bill O'Reilly

As you may know I've been hard on the far left for its dishonest analysis of what's going in America. And now the Valerie Plame case illustrates my point.

You know, we didn't cover the exposure of Ms. Plame as a CIA agent because we had no idea who did it or why. And speculation is not our game.

Well, finally a few weeks ago, former State Department official Richard Armitage was outed as the leaker after three years of misreporting by the far left. Enterprises like Air America and MSNBC flat out accused the Bush administration, and especially Karl Rove and Scooter Libby, of breaking the law by leaking Plame's name.

So did Robert Seagull, host of NPR's "All Things Considered." And so did the usual irresponsible suspects in the print press.

Cynthia Tucker in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorialized: "The White House and [Karl] Rove have denied for two years that he played any role whatsoever in Plame's exposure. Those statements now look like lies."

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman said, "I don't know whether Mr. Rove can be convicted of a crime, but there's no question that he damaged national security for partisan advantage."

L.A. Times' Thomas Robert Scheer, who was fired by the paper, chimed in, "Rove attempted to destroy the credibility of two national security veterans."

Now all of those far-left people were wrong and smeared Rove and others. Shouldn't they be forced to apologize? This is dangerous.

All over the world, millions of people believe America is evil, worse than the terrorists. And the unrelenting hate-Bush media in this country fuels that ridiculous concept.

Quite simply, the Bush haters are out of control and are hurting the country. It is patriotic to responsibly disagree with the president or with any administration. But it is wrong to smear public servants in any party.

So "Talking Points" is respectfully asking all of those who erroneously analyze the Plame affair to admit your mistakes, and be more responsible in the future. OK? We'll be waiting.

That's "The Memo."

FOXNews.com - The Bush Haters Are Hurting America... - Bill O’Reilly | The O’Reilly Factor

Bill is right on. All the smear merchants are pretty quiet when the truth is revealed. Your agenda is obvious by your self-imposed silence when the truth is revealed. Your agenda is not to help America win this war. Your agenda is to destroy Bush. Don't tell me you are patriots. Your actions speak lounder than your words.

Bush is hurting America far more than the people who don't like him. Give it a rest. We look like total bullies in the eyes of the world. This is the real thing that is hurting America. I don't hate Bush, but I do hate his self-centered politics. Conflicts of interest where ever you look in our Government and policies. The only reason we haven't invaded other Islamic countries, that have oil, is we can't afford to with our wonderful economy. We promised to go into Iran if there was further testing and now we can't afford to. Simple facts. Maybe Bush should admit he does make mistakes, just a little more and he won't be as disliked as he is. Our country is founded on honesty and Bush is not that. Get real George and the people may actually have a change of heart.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville

The left with its smear tactics are the ones dividing this country. Bush is fighting a legitamite war. We were attacked by terrorists and appeasement will not win a war. Never has and never will. You kill the enemy until he has had enough. The left are the ones dividing this country at a time when we need to be united to fight our common enemy.

ROFLMAO!
You accuse the "left" of "smear tactics", but then you ENGAGE IN SMEAR TACTICS when you call us "appeasers".

And for the record, Iraq NEVER ATTACKED US.

Why is Iraq our enemy?

OUR WAR has introduced the terrorist element into Iraq, to give them a foot-hold.

You are appeasers. You do all you can to undermine the military. You do all you can to undermine gathering intelligence. You do all you can to cripple the administration's efforts to fight. You are appeasers. No one ever said Iraq is the enemy. You're confused.

For the record, Germany NEVER ATTACKED US.

Pointing out the shortcomings justifying THIS war is not "appeasing".
Tell me alias. WHO am I supposedly "appeasing"? Give me a name of a person or group I am supposedly "appeasing". Be explicit.

And for the record, people who claim we don't need to be concerned with bin Laden ARE THE REAL "appeasers".

Wrong.
Undermining the military is seen in NOT FUNDING the medical care and research necessary for our military men and women to help combat concussion issues. THAT is "undermining".

What I am talking about is the MISSION, which is DIFFERENT from the military.

Or maybe you can tell me WHAT INTELLIGENCE is gathered when the FBI wire-taps innocent American civilians without a warrant?

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

You are appeasing terrorists. I know you can't see it. You're too busy trying to find abuses by Bush and abuses of terrrorist prisoners. You are more concerned about rights than about terrrorist plans to kill you. You're preoccupation with "rights" will get a lot of people murdered. Listening to civilians who are "supposedly" innocent will get no one murdered.
