Cindy's True Feelings

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has fantasized about going back in time and killing "an infant" George W. Bush, thereby preventing the war in Iraq.

That's according to her upcoming book "Peace Mom," in which Sheehan also says she regrets voting for John Kerry, who left her "unimpressed."

Radar magazine reports Sheehan calls Sen. John McCain a liar for denying that he told her that her son will probably end up having died "for nothing," and calls Sen. Hillary Clinton "a conservative in liberal clothing," adding, "We don't need another power monger in the White House."

How do you figure that is sick? You call for death and violence on a regular basis. And she lost her son... I doubt you can say the same.

The sounds my daughter wrote about in her inspired poem, so poignantly and amazingly a few weeks after her brother, my son, was killed in Iraq, have been repeated over and over again too many times since the criminal invasion/occupation of Iraq began in March of 2003.

These sounds are imprinted in my DNA. I will never, ever forget the night of April 4, 2004, when I found out that Casey had been killed. After what seemed an eternity, I finally began to wonder who or what was making those horrible screaming noises. Then I realized it was me. It couldn’t have been Casey’s father, because he was paralyzed in stunned silence holding the pair of pants he had been folding when the deliverers of death news arrived.

I will also never forget the day when we buried my sweet boy, my oldest son. I’ll never forget the playing of taps, or the violent, and in hindsight, thoughtless, volley of the 21-gun salute. If I live to be a very old lady and forget everything else, I will never forget when the general handed me the folded flag that had lain on Casey’s coffin, as his brother and sisters, standing behind me, sobbed.

The saddest thing about the obscene sounds of violence is that they never should have been heard in the first place. From Maine to California, and from Baghdad to Falluja, these dirges were unnecessary. In my travels, and from hundreds of emails, phone calls, and cards and letters, I am discovering that people who formerly supported the invasion of Iraq are withdrawing their support. I even believe that many of our fellow citizens who still support the ignominy of Iraq are doing so because they are clinging to the deceptions so desperately, because they want the deceptions to so be the truth. It will be painful to come to terms with supporting the lies of this administration. It will be painful to know that wholesale killing of innocent people occurred because you and so many others believed the betrayals, but acknowledging the mistake is the first step to correcting it. And believe me, acknowledging the mistake is not as painful as hearing those devastating sounds.

Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) has realized that he had been duped into supporting the invasion. I have spoken to him about his change of heart, and he is so sad that his wholehearted support of the administration helped cause so many good people to hear those gut wrenching sounds of grief. But he is going forward to do what he can to end this occupation as soon as possible. He has co-sponsored a bi-partisan bill (HRJ 55) with other Congressional leaders like Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and Ron Paul (R-TX) to force our administration into a troop withdrawal beginning October 1, 2006. The bill is a good first step to ensuring that families here in America and all over the world do not have to suffer needless death in war. However, I would like the withdrawal to begin tomorrow, because I don't even want to try and imagine the sounds Casey heard before he died. I don't want to imagine the sound of the bullet strong enough to pierce the Kevlar coating on his helmet to rip through his skull. I don’t want to know the sounds of a mother in Iraq wailing for her entire family. These sounds need to stop immediately. It is time to bring our troops home.

Sick-MINDED.

She's a peace advocate, but wishes she could go back in time and murder baby George W Bush? Sounds pretty creepy.

It's sick minded to murder for murder, like Bush murdered her son by lies and deception? And has through deception caused the murder of countless Iraqis and many U.S. soldiers!

I know people who have lost a son or a daughter. They don't go around spewing this crap. She tried to use McCain's name and he said she was a liar. She is a liar. Everyone knows she's a liar. She's a mentally ill person. Losing her son I'm sure hurts. Bush is not the one who killed her son. She should be mad at the terrorists. She has misdirected her anger and now she is mentally ill.

Bush did not murder her son. The terrorist that killed him murdered her son. There is a lot more to being in Iraq than just WMDs. Even the enemy says Iraq is the front line. You know you can't disagree with your enemy now can you when you find ways to help him as much as you can. The people you should be mad at you ignore and blame the ones who are paying the price. You don't support the troops at all. Everything you demand only puts them in more harm because you encourage the enemy to keep fighting by seeing a divided America and you play right into their hands. You are the enemy within and you deserve the same fate as the enemy without.

If Iraq attacked us and had anything to do with 9/11 you would have a point. Bush sent her son to a war that was not necessary for the security of the USA. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do with 9.11

It is the opinion of a lot of Americans that the invasion of Iraq is for a purpose. In my opinion you and some others do not see the purpose. Fine. You vote for the one who represents your ideas. Right now, the man who is the president is there legally and doing his job the way he sees fit. You disagree. You have that right and Cindy has the right to spew her crap. I also have the right to give my opinion of it. Isn't America wonderful?

Just because there might be a purpose doesn't mean its a legit one. Saddam was a dictator...I think we all know that and any attempt at painting a bad picture of Saddam is kind of pointless; we know he was a bad person. But war should only be declared so that it is necessary for the defense of this country. It should only be the last resort. With Iraq, military action was one of the first resorts used. And attacking Iraq certainly had nothing to do with the vital security of the soverignty of the United States. Hell, Iraq wasn't even a threat to his neighbors anymore. Nearly all military officials knew this and even stated so; but once the memo was released and the propaganda machine started rolling, the emotions of fighting terrorism was wrapped up in an already preconcieved goal of neo-conservatives: and that was Iraq.
