Seriously though, how far is too far? Even you said that you don't see the point of taking nail clippers. Some airports only break off the nail file part, which is great, instead of taking my property, you just break it... Wonderful.

You can't do much more damage with a pen knife. I am a 200lb man. Do you have any idea how many times you'd have to stab me to kill me with a pen knife?
Well yeah you are highly trained in kicking ass... much like myself. But the average American is not going to know what to do when a man with a knife comes after you. I am an athlete and have been in boxing, and I would feel a little worried if a man charged me with a knife.
Don't get me wrong, I am not talking about a hunting knife or anything big, I am talking about like a swiss army knife. You can do as much damage if not more with your bare hands then you could with a swiss army knife. Just remember the first rule of Hand-to-Hand combat... find an eye, and stick a thumb in it!

Never heard that rule before. I actually go for the throat first, that can bring anyone to their knees.

That works too, but anyone can find an eye and stick a thumb in it. My point is that never again will a plane in this country be taken over by the use of any simple weapons, not without a great deal of resistance. Americans I believe are very willing to stand up and fight when they feel truly in danger. We won't be french about it, I think the average person would be very willing to take some cuts and bruises if it's the difference between life or death, or between crashing the plane into a building or the ground.

I would hope so... I hope a terrorist trys hi-jacking a plane full of marines, so they would be getting a ass kicking of their lifetime.

I would just hope if you were on the plane you would have enough guts to fight.

I would personally look forward to the opportunity to bring the pain, one on one to a terrorist... I'd love to show them what an American is made of.

I always fly in uniform, and I actually feel really good about it. Beside the fact that they let me walk right past the inspection points usually, I usually hear people who are waiting at the gate with me saying to each other that they feel much safer with me on their plane. I've had a lot of people thank me, and I often get free upgrades to first class, I have never had to pay for a drink or a meal on the plane. It's very nice, and all very appreciated. I can assure anyone on a plane with me that a hijacker is going to have one hell of a time taking our plane... They'd best just blow it up before they let me become aware of their presence.

If the scene were one in a movie, the song 'Let the bodies hit the floor' would be playing in the background...

Man thats gotta be a great feeling. When you see someone in uniform, it's like seeing a very popular comic action hero.

It is a great feeling. It makes you feel appreciated, and that's rare these days.

I thought it was one of the best Super Bowl commercials this year. Unfortunately, Bud Light made about 70 other commercials for the Super Bowl and about 68 of those 70 sucked. Still the airport one was real good...I thought it was really footage for a minute actually.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high
