I never turned Christianity to look like the bad guy. In fact, I was pointing out that doing so would be an illogical fallacy similar to what you guys are doing with Islam.

WRONG

You might not have read the part where I said I've worked personally with many Sudanese refugees - and have done so for over 10 years. These people are a mix of tribal religions and Christianity. They are NOT Muslims.

It IS a war that's based on religion.

Do your homework, junior. And quit reading ONLY the pasteurized, politically correct crap.
Oh, I'm sorry to burst your bubble and show you that this is only one of your failed attempts at attempting to spread hasty generalizations about the entire religion of Islam. The genocide has been systematically targeting the Fur, Zaghawa, and Masalit ethnic groups which are MUSLIM you moron.

Just because some terrorists are Muslim, doesn't mean Muslims are terrorists. That seems to be an elementary concept that you can't get through your head.

Sorry to not allow you to burst my bubble, you Buttmunch, but you're WRONG again. WRONG.

Let me suggest you do some reading before you make a complete ass of yourself, on this thread, again. Here is just one site, and one quote... You SHOULD be smart enough (note I said SHOULD) to do some more reading.

In addition, I'd suggest you do some research on the Anuak Tribe - those people whom I am personal friends with. They're wonderful people, unlike the savages who are massacring them.

Sudan Civil War
Quote:
The northern states cover most of the Sudan and include most of the urban centers. Most of the 22 million Sudanese who live in this region are Arabic speaking Muslims, though the majority also use a traditional non-Arabic mother tongue...
The southern region has a population of around 6 million and a predominantly rural, subsistence economy. This region has been negatively affected by war for all but 10 years of the independence period (1956), resulting in serious neglect, lack of infrastructure development, and major destruction and displacement. More than 2 million people have died, and more than 4 million are internally displaced or become refugees as a result of the civil war and war-related impacts. Here the Sudanese practice mainly indigenous traditional beliefs, although Christian missionaries have converted some.

How many christian terrorists are there in Southern Sudan? Or buddhist terrorists? How many atheist terrorists are there there?

Muslims in Britain are demanding Sharia law instead of living under British law. Would you give in to them?

Sudan Civil War
You know, the extent to which you would defend your complete and utter stupidity really amazes me. That, plus you would go as far as to attempt to slander me for defending well-known fact.

"The various tribes that have been the object of attacks and killings (chiefly the Fur, Massalit and Zaghawa tribes) do not appear to make up ethnic groups distinct from the ethnic group to which persons or militias that attack them belong. They speak the same language (Arabic) and embrace the same religion (Islam)" (p. 129 of the Report of the International Commission of Inquiry on Darfur to the United Nations Secretary-General- PDF)

"Rebels in Darfur, made up largely of Muslims from several non-Arab tribes, resisted what they saw as neglect by the Arab-dominated central government. Militias, drawn from Arab tribes, tried to crush the rebellion. The conflict has killed at least 180,000 people and left about 2 million homeless. The Sudanese government might accept a United Nations force in Darfur to aid African Union troops if a peace treaty is signed."
-USA Today

Or how about you actually read into the ethnic groups that are actually being murdered? Aside from the fact that the Darfur region is a predominantly muslim region, the ethnic groups of the Fur, Zaghawa, and the Massaleit are MUSLIM cultures!

This isn't the Second Sudanese War. Its not happening against Southern Sudan, its happening in DARFUR.

Okay, Mr. Straw man, I'll answer this question. No. I would oppose them. Just as I oppose radical Christian groups in the United States from enforcing the law of the Bible. I don't want to live in Puritan New England, nor do I want to live in medieval Arabia. I want to live in the 21st Century, a century that I believe needs to be sensible and secular.

Hmm..in Southern Sudan? Well, its a little to convienent for you to pick a region that there aren't really even any Buddhists or atheists. Plus there is a very small population of Christians in that region. But as for Buddhist terrorists around the world? How about the sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway? Radical Buddhists and members of the Buddhist religious organization of Aum Shinrikyo carried out the attacks, which were religiously motivated. Although, I'm sorry I can't list a modern atheist terrorist. But I'm sure Stalin will count for a historical atheist terrorist. Christian? Hmm, well I'd spend all day listing people as I'm sure I could of Islam; you know, going perhaps all the way back to the crusades and such.

Then don't attack me when I attack muslims for trying to force you and me to live under muslim law. That is their goal and you don't seem to get it.

That is not the goal of all Muslims just as it is not the goal of all Christians. I can understand being against radical groups of Muslims for wanting to convert the world or hold people oppressed under radical Islamic law. But what you advocate is something completely different. You hold a bias against the Muslim faith in general, and you advocate the indiscriminate killing and genocide of hundreds of thousands of people in Muslim countries; most of whom that would die would be moderate and secular Muslims, or people that aren't Muslim at all caught in the cross fire. THAT is something that demands to be opposed in every way.
