Well, quite frankly, governments and (of course) the United Nations have been TOTALLY ABSENT in bringing any peace to Darfur.

How much worse could the corporations do?

Hate to break it to you, Intangible... but the whole genocide in Southern Sudan is all about ISLAM.

It is the result of the ISLAMIC government, from the north, pushing into Southern Sudan and massacring hundreds of thousands of defenseless people. I have been VERY involved with MANY Southern Sudanese refugees for nearly a decade.

Economics/resources/business is VERY secondary. What is PRIMARY is the typical spread of Islam, by the sword, in Southern Sudan.

THAT is why the United Nations will do NOTHING - because they'd have to admit and face the atrocities of Sudan's MUSLIM government.

Guess what, a predominantly muslim government are killing predominantly MUSLIM PEOPLE. This isn't a war of religion. But if it were, then Hitler was killing in the name of Christianity, and of coarse since we're following your straw man logic, then that must mean that Christianity advocates what Hitler did.

WRONG

You might not have read the part where I said I've worked personally with many Sudanese refugees - and have done so for over 10 years. These people are a mix of tribal religions and Christianity. They are NOT Muslims.

It IS a war that's based on religion.

Do your homework, junior. And quit reading ONLY the pasteurized, politically correct crap.
