| It's not the party, it is the set up of our government. Most of the senators and house members are influenced by lobbyists, Big Oil, Tobacco, Alcohol, and Auto groups. They take payoffs to vote the way these groups want. The way it is set up these elected officals are just looking to the next situation they can make a buck off of. The only time they change this tune is when their seat is threatened. Fighting about which party is the scummiest is not the answer. Most of both are. Fighting to do away with the lobbyists, and to get runoff voting instilled, is. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I think I just said both parties have developed a 'Culture of Corruption'!
