What do you think about train security today?
Don't know, don't take the train very much. Around here, if I had to describe it, I would say it's low. But then again, do we really want to bother with the costs and negative consequences of putting airport like security at commuter train stations? Not at all.

All it will do is slow traffic down more and infringe on peoples rights more. It is also going to encourage more people to drive to avoid the harassment, which is a step in the wrong direction for the environment.

My sister lives in New York and told me she started crying when she found out they were going to start searches on the trains. I find that to be a very natural reaction. Of course this is wrong. What will they do next? It is not necessary, and very Orwellian. Yes, and discouraging people from taking the trains is a very bad thing for the environment, don't even get me started on that.
