Am I going to tell you where I did my undergrad, and grad work - or where I teach, or do my other business? Nope. Why not? Because I don't give a flying fart whether you believe me or not.

If you don't care, then you would equally not care about giving that information too. I don't really care where you went to school, but I am interested in what exactly you have your doctorate in? (As you implied that you have one).

Personal information...such as the field to your doctorate?? You're kidding right? We don't even know your name. If you're one, then you would know well that doctorates have to publish their works (and if teaching at a big university, then continue researching and publishing); which would be broadcasting your field and your own work. You give off more personal information than that all the time on this site.

You know, whatever, have it your way. Its just that when you brag (yes, brag) about things such as "I have the education credentials to be your professor", then such things usually should be substantiated. Otherwise, don't go there.

What personal information I choose to share, or not to share, is my decision. If you can't handle that fact, that's your problem.

You know, Jefferson, I have a doctorate. I have over two-hundred scholarly peer-reviewed publications. I am more qualified in this subject than you are. But, unfortunately, I will decide on how much information I wish to release to you. What is my field? Well that's just going to far. You're just going to have to believe me.

What you don't realize - and won't for about 20 years - is that little smart-ass college pricks, like you, are a dime a dozen. And NOBODY, but you and your peers, is impressed.
