As usual, you refuse to deal directly with the guilty party and put the focus on the enforcer and not the lawbreaker. The cops did nothing wrong. It was only wrong in your liberal mind. It must be a symptom of your inferiority complex and playing the poor oppressed victim. It works for some people and obviously has for you during your life.

The "guilty party" IS GUILTY. There is NO debate on that.

We are talking about the ONLY thing that is actually IN dispute. The actions of the cops.
The focus is on the enforcer because the ENFORCER is the one that has the disputed issue of "wrong".
NOBODY is debating that the student did not break the law, so why beat that dead horse?

"did nothing wrong"? Yes. They did. The guy was HANDCUFFED and there was no reason to taser him.
Scratch that. There was no GOOD reason.
VINDICATION, the reason you guys keep putting forth, is NOT a good reason.
Punishment IS NOT something the cops do. They are there for keeping the peace and safety and arresting wrong-doers. NOT for carrying out assault because they feel the guy had it coming.

It's interesting to note how over and over again, I talk about the PROPER actions of the cops, and all you want to do is focus on the student who broke the university policy. You want to try to pretend that what he did was so egregious that it justified being tasered.
That is NOT a legitimate use of police power.

These guys will probably lose their jobs out of this. Rightfully so.

He would not get up. They should not have just tasered him, they should have grabbed him by the hair and dragged him out and kicked his ass down the street.

And the justification for that would be vindication. Pure and simple.
The police are not in the vindication business. That's an abuse of their power.

Regardless, the campus cops will probably have to justify their actions. Hopefully even in a civil court...

Hopefully, nothing will happen to cops. Hopefully, the students learned to obey the law. Hopefully, the punk who wanted this will have learned to obey the law. We shall see.

Yeah, there's not much question that this stupid kid will be made into a folk hero, and that the cops will be suspended, reprimanded and/or fired.

And the punk will just be emboldened in his puerile behavior.
