America is trying to prevent the murder of innocent people. The terrorists and their sympathizers have a goal of world dominated by Islam.

Also, I don't know where you get they deserve a fair trial. They are not American citizens. They were not rounded up for parking tickets. They obviously were where they did not belong. You will also not address the fact that some of those released were back to making michief. If a prisoner is released and he goes back to terrorism, how can you justify letting him go in the name of justice and protecting innocent lives?

Nothing you said justifies not following international rules. Breaking the law is not "liberal rhetoric", it is what has happened.

Not following our own laws certainly brings us down to their level. We are doing exactly what the act of terror intended us to do.

Morality is not contingent on religion to exist. Therefore religion only detracts from the purity of morality.

I disagree. Saving lives is more important than following laws. America will never sink to their level. If you keep a law and lose lives, what have you accomplished? Nothing. You've lost human lives. That is what the terrorists want and that is what you want. I believe saving human life is more important than keeping a law that protects murderers. How do you think the families of those who were murdered by the scum who were released feel about it? Did you ever think about the victims or just protecting the scum? Your reasoning is a prime example of liberal thinking. You care more about keeping a law that the enemy is taking advantage of than saving life. You are the one doing exactly what the enemy wants, not me. The guards are treated worse in Gitmo than the prisoners are.
