| The answer to both questions is the same... NO! Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand. http://www.armysailor.com http://www.tadpolenet.com/techblog ------------------------------------ Check out my latest addition to the blogosphere Quixotic Journey | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I've held off saying anything in this thread. Dunno why... I think before we set ourselves up as 'World Police' we need to be policing our own country before we do outside of it. I love our country, there's no doubt. But there's so much in our own country that still needs fixing. Such as the gap between the rich and poor are getting wider, our young and elderly doing without medical/educational needs, racism is still alive and prospering, and we still allow certain groups of our citizens to be denied the same rights as the 'in groups'. Fix home first. Then worry about fixing the world after we've got ourselves on a stronger, firmer standing nation wise. Charity is a good thing. But charity should start at home first. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| America is not the World Police Man. America is the World's Bully. America is not worried about making the world a safer place. If that was the case then the American goverment would have intervened in Sudan, Somalia and Zimbabwe were genocide is taking place as we speak. But since none of these countries have any resources America is after there is no reason for them to intervene. But Iraq had lots of oil resources and therefor it was a good idea to intervene. You are very ignorant if you still believe the USA is trying to make the world a better place. Please read a book titled "Confessions of a economic hitman" by John Perkins. That would open your eyes to what America is all about | |||||||||||||||||||||
