Although it is not something I have any desire to do,-- I'm 50; my "top" is past it's prime. -- I have to agree with you.

I was surprised to learn, a few years ago, that it is not illegal in my small Southern town for a woman to go topless. We had a rash of girls riding around town on weekend nights in convertibles or pickups and flashing their breasts for Mardi Gras beads.

The police were ticketing them for riding in the backs of trucks or not using their seatbelts. Or in some cases, they charged them with creating a public nuisance or some such charge.

But the Indecent Exposure laws specifically state that the genitalia be exposed to constitute a violation.

It was all rather amusing.

I certainly would not force a woman to be topless, but I would afford her that right.

If you ask me, that's a movement I'd rather be "in front of," so to speak.

And, they have my "unbridled support."

Children should not have to be witness to 'topless' renegades in the community.

I think renegades is the wrong word. To be a renegade you have to be rebeling against the law or athority around, but they are not breaking the law by going topless.

Well... they ought to know better, and that makes them renegades in my book.
