I have been to restaurants that served snake, it just didn't seem appetizing to me then, and it really doesn't now.

BTW, I have many family members (As well as myself) whom would walk across the North Pole butt naked for fried okra, green tomatoes, and squash.

Well, I don't think you want to go to those places anyway.

I tried cooking fried okra myself. It takes patience, I guess.

Just buy the breaded frozen kind and put it in the oven. That's what I do. Same with fries. It's not really "fried" but it's still good.

I'd love to do that, my friend, but here in SoCal, there's really no such thing as fried okra.

So I won't expect to find that in the freezer section at the grocery store.

Shoot, there you have another reason to stay in Ga. No earthquakes, cheap real estate, and fried okra. Hot damn.

No fried okra!?!? How can you live there?!
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

You gotta ask my father that, CF. If I lived with my godparents in Alabama, well, you know I would have had fried okra a lot.

Tell you what, I am going to DL a recipe on that, and make it tonight. Gotta get some corn meal and okra.
