Same thing with my family I basically have more rights than my sisters, I guess my dad has less to worry about with me. I would feel the same I would worry more for my daughter than for my son.

Agreed. My sister always complains because I don't necessarily have to "check in" anymore..Even though I am 21, when I was younger, I think he took me as being more responsible than my sister. But I agree, if I had a daughter, I would definitely want to know where she is just to be safe.

It's all because guys are stronger, they have more musculerly formed bodies. The reason THAT is, is because the first men made woman feel over powered by them. Men were always above woman in society. Even though most of the females in the animal kingdom over powered the men. Also, I learned that female spiders, I think the black widow, dines upon her mates lifeless body after sexual intercoarse. So, this proves my theory. Females SHOULD be stronger than males, as they are in most of the aimal kingdom.

Animals and humans are different. Many female animals may be stronger than their male counterparts but that just isn't how it is in the real world. Men tend to be physically stronger than women and women have a better chance of getting abducted and raped than a male would. I guess that is why I worry more about my sisters than my brothers.

The simple fact is that men and women are different. Men are physically larger than women, in most instances men tend to have more muscle and less fat than women, and there are definite structural differences between men and women.

Having served in the military, I always found it interesting that the armed forces have been able to identify these differences and have been able to create a physical fitness test that takes into account the physiological differences.

Regarding the initial discussion of this post I have sort of mixed opinions on the issue. While I believe that it is important for people to have the free choice of choosing what it is that they want to do, I also understand the unique aspects that come from team building and the sense of brother/sisterhood that comes from playing a single-sex team sport.

As young children I have no qualms with coeducation teams that include both boys and girls. I believe it is important that children play together so that they can learn and experience firsthand that men and women or in their case, boys and girls are equal. However, as they grow older and begin to change with puberty I believe that it is equally important for them to be able to play single-sex sports. It teaches them how to bond with each other. It is through playing sports that men and women learn to carry on relationships and build friendships with members of their own sex. The bond that is formed from playing a team sports build trusts amongst individuals.

Later in life as adults we take these lessons learned and are able to apply them to the real world. It is also later in life through work and community leagues that men and women once again begin playing coeducational sports.
