It would seem logical, but I don't like to assume...

As a nascar fan of over 10 years I can speak for him when I say that is Jeff Gordon!

I love Gordon cause he is as close to a city slicker as you get in nascar and it makes red blooded folks like you throw their beers at him at nascar events!

He is a great driver and I love him as much as I love Jr.

Yep, that is Jeff Gordon as my avatar. At another forum, someone there really despises him because his a junior fan, so I picked it up. He finished second today, needed 2 more laps and we could have won.
Greg Biffle in the National Guard Chevy took 1st.

Both Gordon and Biffle have 3 wins. Biffle has won each of his races the week following a Gordon win, so go figure. And they are still both behind Jimmie Johnson in the points....

Congrats on 2nd place. That's respectable. Hey at least the National Guard came in 1st, instead of someone crappy huh?

I admit ignorance with NASCAR. I apologize. Do you route for Just the driver or the sponsor or both?

I root for Gordon, as well as all members of the Hendricks Racing Team. The Team includes Jimmy Johnson, Brian Vickers and rookie Kyle Busch (Kurt Busch's younger brother).

As far as sponsors go, I drink Pepsi, won't touch Coke, I use Quaker State Oil and won't set foot into a NAPA autoparts store. I love Gatorade but won't even think of trying Powerade.

So yeah I support the sponsor who support my driver and try to avoid the sponsors of other drivers when I can.

Until I started rooting for Jeff Gordon, I never drank Pepsi always Coke, now I won't, so for some folks it does affect their decision making process. I am not a hard core fan, there are some folks who will only buy from who sponsors their drivers.
